Fintroll - Midnattens Widunder 320

This is some weird ass metal mainly because it's about trolls. And it's in Swedish. But pay no mind to the vocals since it's death/black metal so you couldn't tell what the lyrics are anyway. Otherwise this is some great music to listen and has some weird dancey quality.

Megadeth - Youthanasia 320

Another Megadeth album. I don't have a lot of bad things to say about this album. Mustaine's songwriting is pretty much at it's peak at this point. Everything about this album is tight. The guitars are wicked. The percussion is as good as it will ever be. The vocals are just as snarly as ever and god bless Mustaine for that voice. Just listen to it.

Lamb of God - Ashes of the Wake 320

Lamb of God is a death metal worth knowing about. Their shit is always top notch with an exception to Burn the Priest (varies). Ashes is a pretty awesome album. Definitely worth having or listening to a few times.

Anthrax - Among the Living 320

This is my first Anthrax post and with this I've posted the Big 4 breakout albums (You can dispute that amongst yourselves especially with Metallica and Megadeth). I adore this album. Full on Thrash and very much their defining album. Only Worship Music comes close to surpassing this album and sometimes I think it does. This album has all the quirkiness and general nerdiness early Anthrax is known for in particular I Am the Law.

This the first Slipknot album. A lot of people are gonna give me flack for posting this angsty shit or whatever. Don't fuckin care so eat shit fuckers. This album is really fucking good despite all the flack I'm gonna get for liking this band as much as I do.

Sepultura - Chaos A.D.

One of my favorite thrash metal albums ever. Also one of the best Sepultura albums pre Derrick Green vocals. Give it a few listens. Comes with a few bonus tracks I think. Refuse/Resist is the shit.

Evile - Enter the Grave

Evile's debut album. A nice face lift for the thrash metal community which is aging considerably (just look at The Big 4). This album brings a fresh breeze to Thrash Metal even having an awesome fucking sound about thrash concerts. The guitars are particularly vicious and totally a worthwhile listen.

Eagles of Death Metal - Death by Sexy

A few months back I went back and listened to some Stoner music again. Sungrazer, Dessert Sessions, and some weird oddities (Boris) and I decided to check the artists associated with DS and lo and behold Eagles of Death Metal. This is some really awesome shit. Really good shit even though the vocalist can look a fucking pampered motherfucker. But this shit is stellar. This is their second album and while I prefer the first this one is a bit more accessible I guess. But whatever.

My Hiatus

I haven't posted anything for a while. I've been taking a break and dealing with stuff. being a student in high school is putting pressure on me and I haven't been able to post or upload any music onto my Mediafire account. I intend on returning strong in 2012 and I'm gonna upload stuff up until the New Year and uploading every 3 months to fill out my backlog of stuff to post. It'll be exhausting but thanks to everyone who's been looking at my blog many thanks to anyone who's downloaded the files I put up and the most thanks to anyone who looks at my blog as a constant and downloads my material in spite of my changing from Electronic and instrumental stuff to more Metal posts. I - Between Two Worlds

This album is weird. It's by a supergroup from some of the foremost Norwegian and Swedish Black Metal bands. The vocals are scarring and everything sets in right. Very good mix of Black and Thrash metal guitar and the drums are pretty sweet.
