Well I'm posting The Mars Volta because it's really really really good music. A good friend (well two actually) recommended them to me as they were serenading me as we were going home. And they got me. Love it or hate it don't care this one's probably my favorite album by them.

Arcade Fire - Funeral

Another Arcade Fire album and again a really great album. Pretty different than their EP. It's a little depressing because of death and heartache but still really good.

Lightning Bolt - Hypermagic Mountain

This is some really crazy shit. Lightning Bolt is fuckin weird. There is only one Bass Guitar and a Drummer/Vocalist playing noise. And it's the greatest.

Does It Offend You, Yeah? - Don't Say We Didn't Warn You

I should have posted this sooner. DIOYY? is a personal favorite band and this album is the one of the few albums that I still listen to consistently. Comes together so well and is just a really great weird as shit album.

Gifts From Enola - From Fathoms

Glorious Gifts From Enola. Very very good post-rock (though it is hardly post-rock but I won't use not-really-post-rock without permission from The Cock Horse). Really powerful, heavy, moody and just plain awesome. Trieste is the best song.
